N500,000 is les than $320 dollar, so this is a sad death for a country where billions is used to stone devil in another continent and where schools are underfunded. That's like hajj pap n akara allowance for one malam in holy area abi na land.

Pregnancy is a 9-month gig during which those who are intentional would have not only prepared themselves for that final emergency to come but also done all necessary to ensure they are prepared as far as the bill to come.

This here is a sad story indeed, but I can't really fault the hospital for choosing to protect its bottom line either.

A[b]lways plan and prepare ahead in case of eventualities, not when kasala burst will you start pointing fingers, they had a whole 9 months to prepare for the birth[/b], why blame a hospital that is protecting itself money-wise? For them to insist on payment first, that means they must have been scammed by patients who ran away without paying for treatments, so I do not blame them.
