anonimi:Not at all. We are represented because Yorubas were very proud and conscious of their traditions and values, even under slavery, while Igbos and others were easily bullied to abandon and scorn their traditions. You can still see the same phenomenon today, as Soludo goes around harassing traditional religionists in Anambra state on all sorts of flimsy reasons while letting crooked christian pastors deceive their followers with all sorts of christian lies, rituals, and money demands. Even in Akwa Ibom, one empty-headed, low IQ dumbass governor removed an ancient traditional monolith from a major roundabout that was a huge tourist attraction, and replaced it with a statue of a white Jesus. In SE and SS, they are stupid, useless, lost self-haters who feel ashamed of their heritage due to heavy British colonial brainwashing. Yorubas are a stronger, proud race who refused to be brainwashed by outsiders to hate themselves. Even the existence of Nike Art Gallery tells you everything you need to know. SE and SS could never have such a place because when they see their traditional sculptures and art, they see them as evil, and even sprinkle ‘holy water’ on them, shouting “blood of Jesus!” They are totally lost. |

haybhi1:We need to go back to teaching Yoruba culture and history and instill a sense of pride in the younger ones. We have a situation now where children born and raised in Yorubaland cannot speak fluent Yoruba but very proficient in English language. Others who can see the opportunities in our culture, art and history will take advantage of it or distort it to suit their purposes. |

haybhi1:If you have any skull at all, and it’s not full of sawdust, then you should know that you can’t have meaningful progress without being accountable for your past actions. Richest in America, richest in Britain balablu blabbing of a tribe that fails to have ordinary water supply to all buildings in towns and cities. What a cluelessly ignorant clown you are! |

jazzman7711:If we are a strong and proud race, then why are we exporting ourselves to the same countries we sold slaves to? To make them even better than we are? Do you see how stupid, useless and lost self hater you are like the other blacks in SE and SS who you are trying so hard to disparage? Odo gbé odò ru lásán lásán gbogbo. TheBedWench: |

anonimi:You sound incredibly thoughtless and ignorant. When Chinese, Indians, Lebanese, and Europeans flood other nations outside theirs, as they do in their tens of millions, you hail them as ‘expatriates’, ‘tourists’, and ‘investors’, but when a Nigerian does the same, he is “exporting himself” or whatever nasty, stupid adjective you used out of your wretched inferiority complex. In America, ENTIRE CITY DISTRICTS are known as “CHINATOWN” where even street signs are in Chinese. There must be at least 50 Chinatowns in America, filled with millions of Chinese immigrants. Yet China is the world’s 2nd biggest economy and highly industrialised. So your people travelling around the world is nothing to feel inferior about. It’s a sign of an educated, dynamic population in a still developing country, who will eventually bring their skills and capital to bear on their homeland, just like the Indians, Chinese, Lebanese and Japanese are doing. |

sharpwriter:You are WRONG. We are stronger as the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Sure it’s not cool that the English created the country. But the south was really only shielded by the forest, or they could have been overrun by northerners long before the British invaded, and we would have been just one empire. I think we were destined to be one nation. All this talk of breaking up into mushroom countries no one’s heard of, is just ridiculous. |

jazzman7711:We are not stronger.... Remove lies from your eyes and face reality of what is happening. You will never have peace in Nigeria if the evil of 1914 is not removed. You're stronger together àbí? Will your 250 million population confidently face the likes of Israel in a war? What has contributed to sabotage of development in Nigeria if not that the country is heterogenous.... Different tongues, culture, mindset and values and you think the white man did you good by merging you all together? These are what they didn't do in their lands..... Most European countries that you all term developed are in 5, 10, 15, even 3, 4 million population and they clearly avoided mix up. These are countries you so called African giants can't face in battle and you are talking of strength. What weakness is more than disunity of a society, that which you all have been struggling with since 1960? So you think an Igbo or Yoruba president will think of doing good and some fulanis or hausa strong men will allow it especially when it reduces their cut of national cake? Even the Britain that gave you this contraption are only united by monarch only (united kingdom) ... They all have different governments and are independent by region which have different prime ministers and country flags. Go and check it... And they are better positioned than you people lying to yourselves because they all speak English, one language though with different accents. Guy, dey think well abeg... And who told you forest protected the south. The south that have never be overrun in centuries. Also, who told you that all the north are one and are of one descent? Was it not until the British came with cunny cunny and looked at the majority tribe in the north that made them give power to hausa/fulani? It was then that they were majorly recognized. As at before, everyone know him papa land, they could war with other northern tribes if they so wish, but they don't bring their madness to the south because the south are filled with different countries. In 1840 when the fulani were delving deep into Yoruba land. The warriors of the Yoruba country successfully drove them back and defeated them despite their many onslaughts, so which place was overrun as if they never attempted it? If you care about your own safety (I don't know if you are a southerner or not), it is common sense for you to know that the south is now flawlessly opened to attack now than when there was no Nigeria. We've been mixed up, and so any of their elites could take power, become the president just like Buhari and a cunny, silent underground war continues. Their bandits are seldomly arrested, but even you that do self defense could be jailed. And even our own southern president can't effectively curtail their evils because they've been mixed with us, in our forests, by law of citizenry which gives them right to be in any part of Nigeria. All these are happening before your eyes and you're talking about strength and development, dey play. Oyinbos don't deceive themselves and that's one of reasons they are better than us. Finally, before you talk of rest, enjoyment and development, talk security. Oyinbos understand this and that's why it is difficult to enter their lands, they give you visas, documents, expiry dates of visit etc. And this is a major right that the northerners together with the laws of the land have taken away from every peaceful southerner and middle beltan. You as a man, if you have a family, please invite your friends, few families, people of other tongue to come and live with you in your house with your wife and children, let them have access to your family secrets and properties and documents, let their children compete with your own children in your house (no matter how big) and let's see if you will have a peaceful environment and live in peace! |

haybhi1:Lugard’s Britain also put the UAE together. Are they not flourishing together? Britain put India together until independence in 1947 when Muslim dominated Pakistan and Bangladesh partitioned themselves from India. 24 years later, the Bangladeshis fought a war of independence against Pakistan. Singaporeans also separated themselves from Malaysia in 1965. Since you have no skull, you can’t even understand any of this. Continue with your lame excuses and blame game of the past for your current enduring failure. |

anonimi:And that's one of the reason we're all better alone. You developing at your pace, us, Yoruba developing at our own pace, every other's growing at their own pace too. No one will be hindering anyone else. I won't have you or anyone else to blame, but us, if things take a downturn. |
