A young man in Anambra state met his death in a very tragic way. The man who is yet to be named lost his life while trying to earn a living.

A video sighted by wikigists shows how the man was electrocuted while roofing a house with his other coworkers.

An eyewitness account reveal that the deceased was roofing the said house when the zinc he was carrying touched the high tension wire that passed very close to the building.

The eyewitness further reveal that all efforts by his coworkers and passersby to revive him proved impossible. The victim died and his body was evacuated.

Considering how there is total disregard for safety measures at construction sites i am not surprised. Basic stuff like helmets and boots are not provided not to talk of first aid or medical personnel.
If the proper thing was done why would such construction be going on close to a high tension wire?

That's how they are constructing a two storey building under high tension line here in Port-Harcourt. I'm waiting to see the miracle they will perform when they want to roof it

Sad! NEPA will only bring light when people are doing important things near electricity installations. When people genuinely need light, that time they will not bring light .
