What, Is this a dream? You didn't knilldown for young and old people of Edo State that voted for you, but you went and knilldown down for another person who obviously didn't.

It's well.
He's part of the gang that installed him, that's where 80% of Edo state money is going to, the state will not witness any meaningful development during the reign of this illiterate

Also, get your facts right. How many times have you seen Obi doing that? Two of them are doing it for politics. Your messiah obingo wouldn't have visited and worshiped the Oba of Benin if not for his political ambition. You guys like to sanctimoniously portray the extraordinaire serial party defector Obingo as perfect, when in fact, most Nigerian politicians have similar traits.
Any politicians in Nigeria aspiring to a higher office must have knelt before a royal father.

Not the one knelling down before a godfather, a serving state governor for that matter .

It shows he just a figure head, he's actually not the one governing the state, he's a stooge,no wonder they opted for an illiterate that cannot reconcile figures.

Edo state is finished

Black Africa is a feudal enclave.
Democracy as practiced is completely misunderstood. That is why it just doesn't work to build, prosper and sustain the larger society.

That is why after 26 years of unbroken 5th Republic 'democracy', countless elections costing trillions of naira the average Nigerian is worse off in every index of decent living than he was in January 1999.

why will he kneel for his people? He knows that left to him and the people he can't smell that seat and that was why he relied on these people that can manoeuvre things to get him there which they did. Making it obvious is embarrassing

Do not change the narrative.
I am not a member of LP neither am I supporter of Obi.
But I love balance analysis of the truth.
Both Obasanjo and Gowon have knelt down before Kings.
Once you go to their palace's you must kneel before them.
Do not be emotional with the truth.
You're the emotional one here; both of them did it for political reasons. You can't compare Obasanjo and Gowon, who did it purely for cultural reasons.

This 'mumu behaviour' was d reason why jonathan was nominated as yaradua's deputy and he became president as a result.

Kneeling is respect in some cultures. That you kneel for someone doesn't automatically mean that you will agree with or follow every thing they do or say Think about your parents, relatives and village people for instance.

Even if it's AFTER the election, he still MUST show gratitude to those who practically picked him from oblivion to be king.
E get why.

Apart from the billions invested in him, the other 'resources' invested in his aspiration can't be bought with money.

Those who are angry at him are the usual ungrateful clowns who will pay u evil for good irrespective of the good you do them.
That is why they are being (continually) put at arm's length in the scheme of things in this country.

Dangote, with all his billions of dollars, cant win an election in this country except the gate-keepers are 'carried along'.
cool

This is a very dumb comparison - and I'm not Peter Obi fan. Nigerians kneel before royal fathers or religious clerics - a mark of respect for traditional institutions and the divine (even though I consider it retrograde). That is very different from a politician debasing himself and kneeling before another politician, communicating to the world that he is beholden to the politician as his benefactor. Even a beggar should never kneel before a politician. It shows the Nigerian mentality is still incapable of grasping that in a so-called "democracy" politicians are public servants who work for the taxpayer, and not our rulers and masters.

Tinubu is Jagaban, how do you compare things. People have known Tinubu for decades, he's not a new kid having political elders all over the place to respect. The same cannot be said for some others like the governor in question.
