Mr Idahosa and Mrs Idahosa( nee Njoku) outstanding sums 375k effective 1st February 2025 and on 1st of February 2025 promised to pay unfailingly by 28th February 2025 and on 1st March again promised to pay unfailingly by 31st March 2025 but in the meantime advised that I could initiate legal proceedings. Wife gets over 1.3m in Salary and Emoluments in December every year but refuses to assist her husband who has unstable income despite her benefits package being the reason why a decision was taken to let to them. Same issues last year from Tenant who have the money but still doing the song and dance.

Before the end of the first year when I sent reminders, they came back to say even though they got vacant possession in January 2023 with a tenancy start date of 1st of February 2023 they thought their tenancy should run from end March /early April when they claimed to have moved in. Oftentimes the scammers and trouble makes do let you know the type of character they have very early on. It never ends well.

I will just not rent if the husband’s income does not qualify them. On a monthly basis she gets more than their annual rent.

Na them choose the man but they want to make their problem my problem. If this is how they want to continue my advice is for them to move on.

Mrs Idahosa nee Ms Onyinye Juliana Njoku ( I no even know if she marry the man or just born for am) engaged in misrepresentation because she should not have presented her financial statements as part of an assessment of an ability to pay when she has no intention to jointly being responsible for the full rent.

If you have a good product and you don’t want stress you ask for all the information to assure yourself of the type of tenant. A straight forward tenant has nothing to worry but a fraudulent scammer or 419 is in trouble.

You no provide you are not the kind of tenant I want.

The product is such that if I ask for extra 200k I go get tenant but some people feel entitled to be stealing off another’s barn. They are out to ruin. One just need to weed them out so that they can find their level.

Abroad they will start with credit check, ID, bank statements, employment letter, payslip, previous landlord references and contact details and guarantor join.

1) Completed Application form
2)Passport Photograph
3) ID ( either of NIN, electoral card or international passport)
