lapintoz:Dude, don’t talk as if your historical hatred for the Igbo started after 2015 when the calamitous Buhari connived and rigged himself into Aso-Rock! Pray tell, what ‘justification’ did your Buhari have for him, a so called president, uttering the unfortunate ‘dot-in-a-circle’ comment? And while you’re at it, equally tell us why he made the 5%/97% comment! I don’t remember the exact words he used, but i do remember what he said was manifestly unjust, unpresidential and vindictive! Buharis’ disdain for the Igbo didn’t start after the 2015 elections! He was not just anti-Igbo, but was also a bigot, an Islamic fundamentalist and an ethnic supremacist to boot! It comes as no surprise though that you hold his divisive statements in high regard! Both of you have a mutual hatred for the Igbo and you’re both staunch two-faced ‘one Nigerianists’! |

lapintoz:Can you quit with your Dangote this…Dangote that! The man doesn’t have any extraordinary business acumen, but what i’d concede to him is that he made the most of his people’s total hegemonic control of the Nigerian polity! Much more than what you see on the surface: favourable gov’t policies in which a select few got first pickings or gov’t enabled preferential treatment; easy access to bank loans; easy access to FOREX at exclusive rates; etc….much more than this was what went on behind the scenes: clandestine and subterranean moves which ensured the Hausa-Fulani/core-north military, entrepreneurial and political class cornered all the lucrative and juicy opportunities in politics, governance and business for themselves, and this was what gave Dangote the edge over everyone else! Like i said and conceded, he does have a bit of a flair for business given his family antecedents, and it was this flair, combined with being part of the clique that ‘owned’ Nigeria, that saw him get to where he is today! With such a powerful and inherently anti-Igbo hegemony controlling Nigerias’ political and economic fortunes, what chance did a Ibeto for instance stand against such a force? The playing field was rigged in favour of some and against others! |

IGBOPROMISE1:THANK YOU! This thread is the biggest circle jerk I've ever seen in my life. It's not enough to have posted this same exact topic 2-3x. They have to have the same discussion a fourth time just to bring up Igbo people as if there are not hundreds of other tribes in Nigeria. Like you said, it is truly pitiful. I feel sorry for them. |
