How e no depreciated when govt don't want to do anything about the insecurity problem and rising levels of crime And guess what we don't have natural disasters such as earthquakes, volcano, tsunami, hurricane plaguing us o. If there was, by now the country will be wiped out completely because of brainless leaders. This insecurity problem is man-made and it is deliberate. |

The FG cannot sustain propping up the Naira to make it appear to be stronger and stable. We are spending scarce and borrowed money to keep up the show. Oil price is dropping ... debts have to be serviced ... then so much of oil still in the ground was already given out as collaterals for loans. So what do we really have to strengthen the economy and prevent the Naira from depreciating? Nothing. The Naira is getting weaker ... can no longer swim like it used to ... is drowning ... going under and popping up for brief moments ... clutching at straws ... then going under again. I don't blame Tinubu period .... he said what he said ...and was voted in by the majority who misinterpreted what he was clearly saying. He gave the headline ..... it is my turn now and people ran with it ..not waiting nor asking for the details.... his turn for what? Now we know he meant to loot and wreck Nigeria. |

We all can see why Dangote intend to suspend the sale of petrol in naira. Storing your wealth in an unstable currency like naira is risky. |

Nigerians like to blame too much. Soo many countries had a hard time before growing back their economy. This might not be a popular opinion but a generation had to be the one to experience such hardship. Franch and American went through economic hardship too and that generation suffered before things got better. |

zero8zero:Tinubu ass licker, if you have brain at all you would have noticed the fall of naira the moment the Naira for crude deal was called off. |
| Re: Naira Depreciates N1,600/$ In Official Market by zero8zero(m): 11:38am On Apr 05, 2025 |
Bellotelli:You see this dull boy repeating the dogshit in his head . That's was why I asked you if you were living under a rock when our crude oil was sold in advance for loans but as usual una go cherrypick & wail accordingly. The deal was not called off, it expired and yet to be renewed because there's less crude oil to sell. Until they can arrive at a concession. |

Thus was the simple and basic reason Naira shouls never have been devalued until the whole financial system restructuring or reforms had been carried out before floating naira. You will kill it in a matter of days if youbket naira and dollar slug it out even in the Nigerian economy....naira will die a natural death in a matter of days. Till now, some schools in Nigeria and house rents are paid in USD despite all the noise from CBN. So how a reasonable human being thought it wise to open naira to such a fight with USD in Nigeria, an import dependent country is still beffudling. Most stupid decision. CollinsJC: |
