Well, then, on the long run, it's easier for a man to re settle down than it is for a woman, (in Nigeria, if them no chop half of your property , excluding this), many of the consequences they don't think of initially..... Later they say, and Tunde was not that bad o, and we could have made it work out o, they then start advising young ones. a few are lucky though. Just as some men never recover from divorce also.

There is so much to enjoy for men yet they are eager to run back to marriage after divorce

I think many men haven't learnt to live extended periods alone. Also, men by nature love responsibility or are pressured to take up greater responsibilities especially when they have the financial resources. Most importantly, the best way going forward for men of such a profile (bolded sentences) would be to undergo a vasectomy especially if they have access to the children or have custody of the children. Trust me, many Nigerian women will want to have children for a man with such a profile.

The major problem with many of our men are:
- Having too many children than they can take care of.
- Shouldering too many responsibilities of both their own families, wife's family and extended families. Too much responsibilities make our men old and have less savings left to enjoy themselves.

2. There is no way to control what you submit to. It is contradictory to pretend that which is master over you can equally be ruled over by you. If you believe it is possible to submit and control that which is master over you, why not sell the idea to the men instead?

It’s heartbreaking to see good men betrayed after sacrificing so much. But the truth is, character overrules everything a loyal, God-fearing woman remains the same, with or without money.
Men must vet properly before marriage and marry for values, not just potential. Court marriage has its risks, but beyond legalities, a woman’s loyalty is tested before marriage, not after.

When you submit to your husband ,yes you can indirectly control the husband, women have fallen many mighty men that men were scared of, because those mighty men trusted their women, how will he trust you when you're not submissive?
