DissTroy:Yeah, if they don't like your kind of music, they have shitty taste. Tells a lot about you. |

nedekid:Again, most Nigerians have shitty taste in music. Shitty lyrics with low replay value. Most of the artistes on the said list make songs which sound shittier with with every listen, and by the third month of release, they sound irritating. Take just about any song by Bez, Johnny Drille, Tems or Nonso Amadi made ten years ago and you could listen to them all day. I've got a playlist of all first three artistes all week playing as I worked and I still can't get enough. All songs made 7 years ago or older. You mostly have shitty taste in music if Rema and Shallipopi get a lot of streams than quality artistes. |

DissTroy:One man's meat is another man's poison. Yeah you look at super models with their lean lepa body, small bobbie and tiny arse, tall in hight as the ideal woman Shey, but in the real world, most men will prefer flesh, ass, hip, big tities. If 50m Nigerians download a kind of music, how can 50k Nigerians that prefer another type claim to have better taste than the 50m? |

nedekid:The same majority of Nigerians who accept #3,000 or curse out each other in support of politicians who have plundered our common patrimonies? The same Nigerians who go to the polls fueled by ethno-religio-regional allegiances as against voting for the candidates most likely to effect needless change? The same Nigerians who'd excuse away the crimes of their kinsmen when they are being brought to book, choosing instead to emotionally blackmail? Like our taste and reactions to sociopolitical issues, our taste in music is shitty. |

This is why these Christian artists don't charge when they "minister." They already make hundreds of thousands of dollars streaming their minstrations on YouTube. |

Very funny list. Nathaniel Bassey's Hallelujah Challenge went on for 30 days. The least streamed day had about a million views. Some close to 2m. Do the math and add that to his songs or simply edit your title to "songs" only. Stream for stream, then Nathaniel Bassey should be top 5. Gospel Ministers like Dunsin Oyekan also have highly streamed events on YouTube beyond songs. Some of them earn more money from YouTube than your regular artistes. |
