While I agree with wike that it was actually too early for the now Axed Fubara to show his true colors, it is also wrong for wike to treat him in that manner. For God's sakes, how many of Wike's predecessors subjected him to such? Wike picked all of FUBARA's commissioners, handpicked all FUBARA's appointees such as to be in control of FUBARA's govt. Then he wanted to be getting his percentage from Rivers monthly subvention. Wike isn't fair to FUBARA, but if I was fubara, I wouldn't have acted so fast. Politics is about tactics

Check Rivers State past governors no one was able to successfully install a successor…. Peter Odili couldn’t successfully install Celestine Omehia ….

Amechi tried for over 12 years and couldn’t install Peterside Dakuku ….

Fubara didn’t even buy ticket with his money yet he won …..

Go to North especially…. Your Godfather installs all local government chairmen… all commissioners …. Virtually every body….

Go to my state Delta … Okwa control virtually every single thing in the state….

Don’t be deceived…. This men are not really after money …. They all have political ambitions especially Wike so he needs his structure…. He needs his loyal men on ground

My brother; I swear down that thing can be very painful. Helping someone climb the ladders and they showing their true colors immediately. Even people supporting Fubara will do worst than Wike if they are the ones in Wike's shoe.

Go ask fashola how his first term went after succeeding tinubu in 2007.....he didn't even have any member in his ward exco let alone commissioners.....but he was strategic and wise enough so as to swim through all the treacherous waters and still kept his name and got the job done.....those are the people fubara should have sought advise from and not the likes of omehia or papa Clark who had already gone senile.....worst of all fubara was coalescence with asari dokubo,now see where his stupidity led him.

The question nobody is asking is what Wike must have requested for to make Fubara not agree with him but then again, We need to end politics of Godfatherism. A country cannot progress with the kind of politics Nigeria plays. A politics that lack honesty, genuity, transparency, patriotism and ordinary empathy. I understand politics is often transactional but what happened to sincerity of purpose. Politics of deceit, backbiting, blackmailing, self centeredness, greediness, politics of impoverishment and enslavement!

Let's digress a bit, a case study of Abia state for those that knows Abia.
T.A Orji literally pick OVI and made him Governor against all odds.
OVl was still loyal till 8yrs.
Ebony state: Elechi run am for Umahi, Umahi only breakforth after first tenure.
Sim acted to early, there was an agreement he consented, at least allow your Boss enjoy for a while even though we expected it, because you can't keep a man in the dark forever.

Truth is until wike handing over power the like of odili were still with him, even when he was giving his political ally's gssrs towards the twilight of his administration the political godfathers were still honored by him.
He even made sure the delisted governors name was returned and honored.

Fubara came and decided he will be a one man show runner after meeting a structure that gave him what he became, all of a sudden nobody mattered except his selfish ideologies.

Loyalty is 100 only those who give it stay relevant for a long time.

Wike never played with party loyalty and that is why he is still relevant.

Check his records no sane elder in rivers will call him a betrayal.

..the cause of the fight is fubara trying to tamper with the structure wike laid..the people that wike's people..in which wike imposed and put in positions to be part of fubara government.. fubara removed some of them from his government.. in a certain media interview wike complained that fubara removed a chief in wike family/hometown and replaced the chief with another person without wike approval and wike knowing about it...so this is part of the major cause of their problems

Let's put you in the picture.

What Wike needed was to get support to keep winning many fights. All Fubara was supposed to do was to support the man who brought him there.

The fight Wike prepared was for PDP but he had to suspend the battle to face Fubara. Doesn't make sense.

Let me tell you, Fubara would've had many opportunities siding Wike than fighting Wike. Sometimes you have to be a fool to keep winning.

Wike was betrayed by Okowa and Atiku and he doesn't take betrayal for fun anymore....
