HP ominbook, Asus zenbook, dell Inspiron 14, MacBook pro etc can all do almost 24 hrs battery life on a single charge each. And they are considered to have good battery life.

While dell XPS, HP dragonfly and Lenovo yoga all have about 13hrs + battery life each and they are said have average battery life.

The bare minimum that any laptop brand can give their users is 8hrs and those are the cheapest laptops that are said to have poor battery life.

The only exception being high performance gaming laptops and those are meant to be plugged in while being used for high demanding tasks like gaming or 3d rendering.

If anyone thinks that 7hrs is good battery life, it's cuz they believe that the standard a 10 year old second hand laptop has is the standard for all laptops.

What i was saying is that 7 to 8hrs battery life is the lowest you can get in a laptop. laptops go higher than that but not below that.
I just saw the specs of your laptop. If you go online and look for laptops with that specs and price, you won't find any with less than 8 hrs battery life.
