Kudos to the vigilantes, everyone needs to be at alert now.
With the collective effort of everyone we will conquer the marauders and the bandits.

It's high time state governments invest in their local security personnel.

Solution to banditry is not in view. Serious educational campaign and equitable wealth distribution has to be in place in the north. The elites there are not ready for this. So, the south should not allow such to come to their regions.

I wonder why we have organized and armed vigilante groups in the North fighting these bandits and terrorist but police and the military discourage ownership and use arms against Fulani and non-fulani kidnappers in the South. Is there any reason for this?

Ok, some states in the South have vigilantes, eg, Edo. But their recent operation against suspected kidnappers turned out to be a disaster

it is okay when Muslims kill Muslims and northerners kill northerners but if the killing was done by Christians or southerners there will be an uproar and northern leaders will describe them as innocent hunters. Same way hundreds of thousands of people have been killed in Sudan and Syria and there is no much talk about it because it is Muslims killing Muslims and that is okay . The Muslim world is more pained by Israel fighting a retaliatory war with Palestine. Aljazeera hardly report what happened in Syria and sudan
