Time for prices of products and services to start crashing

This is not good for energy security

In other words, Nigeria has a shortage of 65% reserve

What if something happens that requires refinery shutdown or supply chain disruption like during covid
Re: 65% Tank Farms Dormant Due To Fuel Subsidy Removal by maasoap(m): 8:47pm On Apr 07, 2025
Because they were mostly being used for subsidy scam because we still don't have petrol scarcity despite this 65% being dormant

Subsidy is gone and our debt servicing keeps growing , external reserve is shrinking. It will only take a stupid man to defend this government grin

What has been providing jobs for thousands of Nigerians out there will now become moribund
Na only Nigeria get tank farms?
Re: 65% Tank Farms Dormant Due To Fuel Subsidy Removal by keemsleek(m): 9:14pm On Apr 07, 2025
Hmmm. If you ever worked in the system you will know tank farm owners where reaping the government. Removal of subsidy crippled them, imagine bringing in- let say 3kmt of pms and you forward waybill of 5kmt to government. They were just chopping free money plus free money also from PEF. Every depot owner is guilty of the scam especially those who have their personal vessels and sell the pms and dpk. There's no subsidy on AGO.

Powerful Jagaban dismantling oil sector and fuel subsidy cabal. These are the people collecting billions in subsidy payment to fill up their tanks, yet Nigerians still suffered periods of long queues.
Shop has closed, sell your tanks to Dangote or go and build your own modular refinery and make fuel affordable and cheaper to Nigerians.

Some deluded Nigerian don't see it that way, they will still wail.Wailers right now.

I will for ever Say that the Tinubu's Fuel Subsidy Removal is ill-Timed. If Necessary Modalities were in place before removal, the Negative effects wouldn't have been much felt. The Northerners are regretting voting Tinubu till tomorrow. They thought Tinubu will quickly die like Yaradua then their brother will take over.
When is the time to remove subsidy? There is no better time than when refineries are working. There would always be effect of every decision taking, not taking decision too has a very long term effect.

Empty head don enter thread, lol. The same losers crying that fuel Importation by markerters was aimed at frustrating Dangote, on the other hand, little or no Importation is now bad for energy security. Do your dumb head know that Dangote refinery is the largest single train refinery in Africa and also has enough storage capacities. So where does energy crisis wants to come from, with additional PH & Warri refineries?. Don't allow me flog you tonight.

There's no modalities that will be put in place before removal that won't have effect, the probIem with u Iots taIking is that u also voted a candidate who clamoured for subsidy removal, those of u taIking about modalities taIk Iike u are not in touch with reality, just bIinded by poIitics and sentiments.
If we ask u to outline modalities that are feasible to implement in a country like Nigeria, u won't say anything that's feasible to implement, it's just taIks.

You should provide empirical data to back ur claim, Iousy claims don't hold water where common sense is being applied.

If we're being sincere and not being sentimental, there's never going to be a good timing for subsidy removal.
Just leave them.
They think intelligent people don't know when opposition play politics with ruling party policy.

When a policy is good,is either the opposition party claim its ill timed(subsidy) or its not a priority (Lagos-calabar high way) or it's not well implemented (floating of naira) or they declared it out rightly bad

No one should ever pay any marketer subsidy money. All the times we bought fuel at inflated prices, we payed them their billions in full plus extra. All of them should get out!
