X user Brownie shared an update, revealing they attended his last court hearing on March 27 at Orege Court in Ajegunle, which was adjourned to April 28. The case is now with the DPP (Director of Public Prosecutions), and the court awaits guidance on the next steps.

According to Brownie, the boy is innocent and a victim of false accusations. He was returning from work when some locals wrongly accused him of theft and fighting, handing him over to the police. These charges, rooted in resentment over the attention and money he received during the elections, now threaten his freedom. His mother and a few supporters continue to fight for justice.
