When I read your comment, I scrolled up to check your gender and I was not dissapointed. Your statement is a very popular misconception among nigerian women. There is nothing beautiful about having underarm hairs or vagina hairs. I literally shave mu underarm hair every 18 - 24hrs.

Once stubble is out ( which is typically four hours after you shave), I remove it. It is so uncomfortable, I remove vulva hair every 5 days just to allow enougn hair before shaving. The only time I can keep my underarm hair for up to three days is when I am outside the country during winter. That is most likely the justification of those women in those countries.

They live in cold climate. Nigeria is a hot region. It is incomparable. Please learn to shave. You smell less. Please


I use hair removal cream. If a pregnant woman can't see her belly, she should be able to slam the hair removal cream on her vulva. She can get a dedicated sit and wait for the cream to do all the work. You can use an use icecream spoon/stick to apply the cream down there

Stop being narrow minded. I don’t just shave. I actually wax. It lasts longer than shaving. But I completely understand that not shaving does not mean dirtiness. It has nothing to do with the climate. It is simply a choice.

Only to return for checkup with her husband and pad used to pack her vagina for over 2week is still inside and already turned black with very bad smell.. her claim is she wasn't told to remove the pad ! For over two weeks? The smell was so bad to the extent that d room has to be cleaned with Jik, air freshener sprayed and doors opened for fresh air. Abeg the females can do better on their personal hygiene and the Midwife is actually right on this.

What’s all the talk about smell? Bushy hairs doesn’t mean bad hygiene and shaved ones are not indicative of cleanliness and good body hygiene.

Pls wash, bath, shower, wear clean underwear’s, clothes..

If you shave and have the skin of toads, then wear under wears that don’t permit good ventilation then on top of that, you wear tight then trousers like denim on a very hot day. It won’t matter how much you shave, a bob Marley or bin laden vagina that washes once a week will be cleaner than that.
