Sec 308 of the1999 constitution carter's to only president, vice, governors and their deputies.

All other elected officials are without immunity.

Defamation: A general term referring to making false statements that damage a person's reputation.

So if the guy can provide a backstory supporting his opinion, like instances in which Natasha has been caught in a lie, examples of when and who she blackmailed , and when she used another person to advance her course then there is no case here.

But like I said, all theses is just academic, it is my opinion that none of the court cases she is throwing up will be pursued to any serious degree.

Saying someone has 6 kids from different fathers is NOT an opinion.
Blackmail is a criminal offense and involves demanding payment or another benefit from someone in return for not revealing damaging information about them.

I never said the claim of 6 kids is an opinion..infact, I called it a statement of fact to be supported or disclaimed.

Blackmail can also be used broadly to include threatening someone to do what you want, just today, China made a statement that they will resist the blackmailing tendency of the USA in the ongoing trade war between the two countries.

And yes it is my opinion that she is using this law cases as a threat and to keep the issues alive in the media rather than pursuing the cases rigorously, hence the term 'Audio Cases'

Blantant lies. Forget Nigeria constitution. Senate standing rules and order is much more stronger than that. Senators are not under the oath to that. They have their rules considered stronger and much enshrined than Nigeria constitution. You can not file a lawsuit against a sitting Senator.

I don't have to verify anything said about her, I am only an observer, all I did was to classify some of the statements from the male senator, into actual statements that can be factually checked in the court or mere opinion that if not supported will have to be withdrawn.

It is not relevant if she is a lawyer or not, what is relevant is her antecedents of using legal cases as a publicity stunts, just on the current issue alone she has initiated more than a couple of cases.

In all probability those cases are just stunts, nothing more

You cannot sue people for expressing opinion though, you can only challenge facts and that is if you can prove that those facts are wrong and deliberately used to discredit you.

'Gold digger''serial liar' are just opinions.

'Mother of six from different men' is a statement of fact, she only needs to show us that those statements are not true.

'Falsely accusing Reno' is a fact, she have to show the court that the statement is incorrect.

'Blackmailing her current husband' is a fact, sha have to show us, she didn't do that.

She also have to show the amount of damage done to her to justify the payment of N5b.

I think she just like suing people, none of the cases is going anywhere..That is an opinion by the way, she can't sue me for my opinion

I don't think you have ever been in court before or have any form of legal knowledge. What Senator Nwaebonyi has done is make claims which are defamatory to Natasha. In law, he who asserts must prove. So he needs to prove with facts how Natasha is a gold digger, a habitual liar, a blackmailer and how she contracted her marriage under blackmail. If you think those claims are easy to prove in court for Nwaebonyi, then you need to think twice.

In 2020 when Govenor Samuel Ortom sued Adam Oshiomole for defamation (libel) and he was determined to pursue it, Oshiomole bent after failing to have the case dismissed. He opted for out of court settlement and apologized to Ortom publicly.
