Northernblood8:So tell me what is it about some Yorubas that makes them have this seeming need to claim other tribes as their own? Will you lose something if Itsekiri are a different tribe from you as they are? Saying Itsekiri "originated" from the same group as present day Yorubas and therefore that makes them the "same" ethnicity or that because they have similar language they are then one ethnicity is incorrect. Itsekiri as its mostly called by its people in quote are a lost tribe more like a lost poppy, they have really tried to convince the people as to where they belong, but one thing I know about these tribe is that, they are very hostile. |
