The point is Madrid was't even trying to score Arsenal with just 3 attempts at goal compared to Arsenal's 11. If Arsenal was lucky to have scored 3 out of those 11 (two of which are free kicks and one from open play), the Madrid was luckier to have conceded just that 3. Madrid didn't even put in work to register goals in their name.

Whether Rice scores direct freekick every week or once in a lifetime is irrelevant . I wonder when scoring a freekick suddenly became a thing of luck and not about hitting the ball right to out it behind the post

One win in any of the three European competitions would have secured the fifth place for England.

5th place qualification is via country coefficients, the table I added to my last response to you. The top2 countries with the highest coefficients for the season gets that bonus 5th spot.

Right now, England is far ahead of third placed Italy, and they’ve still got 5 teams in Europe.

I'm not being defensive, I'm only telling u that scoring freekick is a skill and not luck. If he hit the ball against the bar and the ball ends up striking the keeper on his back before fining its way into the net, u can say the goal was pure luck.

A player who hits the ball perfectly beating the human wall and the keeper in quick succession in a single match is not luck. He simply improved his set piece skill. We watch every week and most times he always delivers perfectly timed set piece.

1. He was put through on goal and he blast it over the bar. He was right in front of Raya.
2. Put through on goal from Bellingham' pass and he didn't bend the ball very well, it was saved by your keeper.
3. He received a pass in your penalty box, instead of hitting it one time, he dragged it a little and hit the side netting.
