Four farmers were murdered in Ala farm settlement, Akure Ondo State by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Monday Night and their corpses were brought to Governor office Alagbaka on Tuesday. The villagers led by their Baale barricaded the roundabout leading to Oda, Alagbaka, gov office with the corpse tied on motorcycles. It was very gory to behold yesterday. Be safe out there folks.

I still don't understand if these herdsmen are invincible or they have so much power to outnumbered the indigenes! No one has monopoly of violence! It's obvious the government won't do anything about these coz all these protest has been going on for many years! The youth of Akure should be ashamed of themselves if they can't defend their lands against foreign invasion! The earlier they take up arms to defend themselves the better! Waiting for government to help you in Nigeria is a total waste of time! Some rag tag individuals can't hold the whole country hostage ! Fight now or die while being a coward , choices are yours

Since the death of Rotimi Akeredolu, security lapses have been occurring in the state, unlike before. Ayedatiwa appears clueless. Before now, late Gov. Akeredolu had succeeded in sending the killer herdsmen out of the state, but the rising spate of kidnapping and killings in Ondo State and Kogi St border is alarming.

These Fulani herdsmen are a menace..

Akeredolu resisted them and once he was not around anymore, they cut a deal with the new sellout i guess.
The advantage of fulani on Africa is a spiritual one and they have a way of going after whoever challenges them.

Let the Southern Governor Forum issue a statement -
Sultan, NEF, ACF etc should call these people to order - either take full responsibility or totally condemn these criminals. They should stop finding their voices only when locals retaliate!
The Governors should make it clear that denying the locals the right to self-preservation in the face of obvious annihilation attempt by Fulanis is no longer sustainable.
Herdsmen and their stakeholders should pay compensation for the gruesome murder to calm fray nerves.
The Federal Security Forces should desist from selective response/approach to combating crimes - any further excuse of inadequacy or being overwhelmed by criminals will be resolved with Specially formulated state Policing!

Innocent peaceful travellers according to the Yorubas.
