In as much as US is trying to bully China, China should weigh its options and see if it is worth it, engaging in the fight, in the first instance. Can the Chinese economy be able to sustain the huge economic losses that may result because of this fight? There is no need being emotional. China should check the benefits and the advantages it gets because of its huge trade surplus with US and make some concessions, so that it doesn't result to unnecessary economic losses to its economy and entities.

Fair argument. The trade between the US and China is less than 10% of China's GDP. The figures are huge though, but other countries exist. With this suspension of reciprocal tarrifs, simply re-route goods through the usual China allied nations.
