His clumsy link up play is not going to change at 36 years plus. AirBere:I'm not criticizing him crossing or passing,the issue is with his decision-making, particularly in situations where he's just outside the box. He tends to play the ball in a way that's almost reckless/close to the keeper, hoping a teammate will run towards it, rather than passing to a free player in a better position such as the penalty spot...that trashy choice leads to the ball getting blocked. Although I'm happy with the win, I think teams like Inter or Liverpool would have capitalized on our mistakes in the first half. Guirassy did seem out of sync and struggled to make an impact.🤔 |
