Good morning people. I noticed that majority of users on this site live in Lagos.

Most of my childhood friends have traveled to Lagos.

That aside, I want to relocate to Lagos. I have an uncle that used to stay in orile (2018).

I can camp in his house for the main time.

If I come to Lagos, can I get a job that can pay me like 100k and above every month. I have my waec and neco. I just turned 25.

I feel if I change environment, things will begin to go well for me.. and I heard there are lots of jobs in Lagos.

Here in the east, no work or company. Only Keke bus business that's thriving

Please can I make it in Lagos? I need suggestions. This is a life changing decision please

I saw a job advert on the job/vacancy section for factory work 7 to 5 (Monday to Saturday) for 100k. I feel it's okay for me. I wish I was in Lagos, I'd have taken it honestly

Once I land, I'll desperately look for work. I'm 99 percent sure I'll make it in Lagos.

If that is your relocation plan, my brother, you go park go within 2weeks. Area is tough. Lagos is tough without someone to help. And trust me, if that your uncle is married, you won't find it easy. Woman don't like visitors especially from the husband side.

And about factory work, bro you fit do am? Morning and night. No overtime. Trekking. You go lean my brother. If be say you are coming to rent your own apartment, and like say you fit learn barbing. But if not, for now stay your lane. No rush life

Yes.. it should be. The one you can enter bus going to volks or alaba. There used to be a police station near the junction.

My uncle's used to live with his children. Most are married and the others in school. His wife base abroad.. we used to be close before she left.

Can I learn a very high paying skill in Lagos? What of high paying job?

OP come Lagos asap and stop listening to people talking against your decision.
Both the sweet and bitter experience na only you go still enjoy am no be so?
Just don't come here later and start begging for cash to survive coz at 25 years old you can face your consequences be it sweet or bitter.
But pls try and learn a skill don't and never be tempted to a salary work o coz to stop am dey extremely hard o is good you start suffering for that skill immediately you land than joining any salary work and be paid by 50k-70k monthly that will kill your time,freedom and peace of mind well if you wake up by 4am to rush to work then you will understand what am saying.
Call that your uncle and beg him to put you for work(training) and suffer it like your life depends on it and be sure before coming down or if you can learn it at your end then fine and good am telling you the bitter truth of life

A piece of advise, once you land, trash that your certificate, roll up your sleeves and plead with your uncle to take you to any main market so he can introduce you to a few people. Be ready to hustle like an illiterate undergraduate else na depression go kpai u for ur bros house.

Come to Lagos because there are better opportunities here than in the east.

One word of advise - we don't tolerate any rubbish about IPOB here so leave everything you know about IPOB in the east before you relocate to Lagos!

We already have too many people in Lagos. We are working on a plan to drive them back to wherever they came from.

The way some people talk about this Lagos as if they cannot make it anywhere else... as long as you are determined, you can make it anywhere... I send someone in Lagos money daily for transportation and upkeep from the same East you feel you can't make it from
