I'm sure they are not worried about this fine.. They would still recover it from ordinary Nigerians in one month through same estimated billings and fines for bypass. We have entered one-chance with these people. |

BEDC The situation where consumers served by BEDC electricity distribution company, we're having and experienced a significant delay in receiving prepaid electricity meters we applied for. They appear to be manipulating the system by preferring estimated billing, even though it results in unreliable electricity service, because it allows them to receive more payment than the electricity they provided. Essentially, they are benefiting from a system failure. This highlights a problem with both the BEDC's meter rollout and billing practices, and the consumers unethical actions. Could you believe that BEDC has only one team installing meters for all of Ekiti State, and that this team is primarily focused on Ado LGA., strongly suggests a servers capacity problem. It's highly improbable and raises serious questions about the company ability to provide timely service to the entire state. This explains the significant delay in meter installations, the preference for estimated billing ( even with its flaws), and the potential for widespread consumer abuse. The concentration of resources in Ado LGA., while the remaining 15LGAs., suffer demonstrates a profound lack of equitable service distribution. This raises concerns about potential favoritism or mismanagement within BEDC. |

YeyeGbami:Of course, they have to be among. After clearing the estimated bill, notice of disconnection was issued by them in October last year. You can't imagine that this Ikeja Electric are still sending estimated bill till March. Someone just sit in an office to print and issue estimated bill. No recourse to balance of account yet they have several finance departments interested in making money for the company. |

XtraFortunes:I was expecting to see them on the list but shockingly they are not there, probably because customers aren't reporting them. I'm currently battling it out with them, despite battling it out last year and NERC told them to stop but they resumed with the estimated billing nonsense after 3 months |

Telecommunication companies are ripping off Nigerians. Do we still have consumers protection council in this country? NCC has betrayed Nigerians in what looks like they have collected bribe from the Telcos. Both voice and data charges are highly exorbitant right now with hidden (wayo) billing inclusive. What nonsense is this? Glo just billed me over #22 per minute. I think it's high time we began to protest. |

If the service is monopolized by the service provider and the consumer desperately needs the service, and the provider is the alpha and omega then the consumer is doomed. |

They will pay and still spread the fine on the customers through more estimated bills. The citizens are being extorted, the government is fining the extortionists, the extortionists are paying fines comfortably and passing the bill to the people. The extortionists are happy, government is making money, the people are distressed at the games being played brazenly. adenigga: |
