Exactly. The word rape is used ambiguously. She probably had a dalliance with the unamed man who probably had his way in a manner she did not like and she's using the word rape.

Male or Female rapists are one and the same. They deserve equal punishments. Go and educate yourself on how boys and men are being raped all over the world. Every victim of rape deserves justice, whether it happened much earlier or very recently.

That is not a fact since many men don't have sexual discipline and would go erect even if a crocodile were attempting to take a swipe at their penis. Male rape is a fact same as female rape. As a matter of fact, many of the victims of this sort of rape are raped, not by female but by other men. The prejudice that exists in general against women who cry out rape equally exists against men who do so.

While male rape is a fact, male and female rapists are not the same, however. Why? since in many cases, male rape is carried out mostly by males.

Popular Nigerian actress and media personality, Omotunde Adebowale-David, also known as Lolo 1, has alleged that a colleague once raped her.

The actress shared her traumatic experience of being raped by a male colleague in the broadcasting industry on her podcast “Say My Piece”, which was posted on YouTube on Friday.

According to Lolo 1, she was raped by a colleague, which has left her traumatised and experiencing momentary panic whenever she sees him.

Lolo 1 stated that naming the rapist now will bring her criticism for not speaking out earlier but doing so now that the said person is an established figure in the industry.


She noted that women often respond to sexual assault with denial and self-blaming, highlighting the complexities of trauma and recovery.

She said, “I hardly ever say this, and I am not even ready to tell the full story. The stories of sexual assault. When I discussed it with my daughter yesterday, she held my hand and said, ‘Mummy, you’ve gone through so much.’ And I said I had.

“I remember how many of those things I have to relive. I have been raped only once in my life, and I was raped by a colleague. I see him every other day. Do you know how traumatized I am? When I see him, I just get into this momentary panic


“But if a woman of my calibre named him, he’s an established person in the broadcast industry, won’t people say, ‘How come I didn’t speak about it for all these six years until now that he’s taking a prominent TV position?’

“When sexual assault happens to women, the first thing to happen is denial. The next thing is self-blaming.”

Rape is forced penetration. And I am telling you that she can do so. She can get him drunk and force herself on him. She can even have him held down by others and force herself on him. Again, the general population of men out there, particularly in developing countries, is not disciplined when it comes to their ideas regarding sex. So, arousal for them is not a feat as you would assume.

Another angle that is not addressed is that rape against men is also many times carried out by men. A lot of boys and men are raped, not by women but by other boys or men. These go largely unreported by the victims.

That's why you can't predict such people it could be they were cool with each other and moved things forward and at a point things happened and change the narrative

I don't beleive her story. She said women often respond to sexual assault with Self-denial and Self-blame. She refused to explain how the guy raped her. What an emotional blackmail and manipulation. It's obvious that she had a consensual sex with the dude, the dude later ignored her, she then make it a rape story out of frustration.
