Mind you. Churches of now days have been commercialized. Forget about calling the name of Christ. Its now a business center. It depends on what club you want to attend.

My mum still hold grudges against me because I've decided not to attend any. I prefare to say my prayers at home. Every Sunday she calls and ask if I go to church.

That is why you hear those unexplainable testimonies people give. Its just a way to trend. Once people hear of the church. The followers will boom. That means more funds will come in. And the leader will follow up with every necessary means.

Just few churches are safe. Because the pastor still looks hungry doesn't mean it's safe. He hasn't gotten his plug yet

Jehovah's Witness is operating at a different level.
They have been steadfast, resolute and committed.
I hold no grudge against them. They downplay commercialization of churches.
They entertain persecutions a lot, in fact more than several Christian bodies.
Seems in their church everyone is at same level irrespective of your degree, financial acquaintance and contacts.
And it seems they obey the Bible the most:
-They hardly disturb neighbors during prayers.
-They frown at intimidation and flamboyant lifestyles.
-They ensure financial gifts are covered and never displeased at whatever they recieve.
-Their members would make good politicians but they frown at politics


I respect them. I judge based on actions and not what I'm told.

It's worrisome to see common trends amongst most GOS or Church Founders especially in Nigeria.

1. They abuse their powers by arresting and putting in prison anyone who speaks against them. What then is the difference between them and politicians?

2. They oppress younger ministers they perceive carry unusual grace. And when such ministers try to leave to establish their own ministries, they frustrate them.

I could go on and on.

These evil trends should stop. Otherwise, they will be cast away on judgement day. God is no respecter of persons.
