Please Mayor, does the bolded mean bank statements reflecting payment of wages as shown in payslip?
Yes, bank statements reflecting NYSC payments of 33k for 12 months.
The description is usually “Federal LA” or something close but it’s consistent for 12 months.
So that works great.
No need to inflate gross salary on the reference letter…it’s not CV so you don’t need to look good, truthfully put what you can prove easily 33k x 12 = #396,000 Net Salary per annum

How did you not get ITA in the last Healthcare draw?

Just curious.
AmiableMosquito:
You need to max out IELTS to begin with. Although, your present score is good but you will need
L-8.5, R-8.0, W-7.5 and S-7.5 to get all the possible points.

I'm 34 and currently on 469, also awaiting healthcare draws. Unfortunately, my IELTS will expire on 24th of this month. Just hoping for some miracle.

Just curious.
My previous primary NOC wasn't in Healthcare and I didn't meet up with the minimum requirement for HC as at the last draw in November.

You’re joking right?

Someone should correct me if I’m wrong, I think you can use WES for your husband. They will only evaluate it as bachelors degree, it’s going to be less stress, faster and cheaper than medical board. Besides the difference between bachelors and professional degree for spouse is like 2 points or so.
Better still contact WES and ask them if they can just evaluate his degree as he doesn’t plan to practice immediately.
All the best
That will be great if they do so. I will put a call to them and ask. Although on their website it’s written there that for physicians they should contact MCC, but as you said it now, since he is not planning to practice and coming as accompanying spouse, they may be able to do that.

OMG! ITA wasted just like that? You could have taken your chances and prepare a solid explanation just in case of an eventual ADR.

In all, I wish you good luck.
malakiMal:
Lawyer told me to withdraw and apply again since my application has not yet been seen by any visa officer, and try to apply again with the options I layed above
MayorOfEdmonton:
Whatever advise/counsel Lawyer will offer, you can get it here trust me.

Speaking of lawyers, they only know as much as the cases they have dealt with….I’ve learnt this sad truth from a close friends experience.

**Lawyer Layi just wants to make an easy buck just like travel agents.
The thing about many lawyers, agents, even IRCC recognized representatives is that they have no skin in the game!

I'm struggling to understand his rationale and would strongly advise you get a second legal opinion if you feel you need legal advice.

Most people here suggested to come clean and send a webform to explain the missing WE from past applications...someone even said he made the same error but scaled through.

How does the lawyer propose you address the issue in a subsequent PR application?

Regarding the options, you know that if you marry your baby mama or even claim to be common law, you'll still apply for PR and have to provide your 10 year personal history. Ask a cross section of the refugee gang how things are going for them. Every filing and appeal costs money, can last many years and weighs on your mental health. Even if you reapply using 1 yr NYSC, what will you do about the missing WE which was why you withdrew your previous application? You would either leave it out again and be silent or include it and explain the previous ommission, which is what a webform would have done.

Also....check your CRS again. You have 2 degrees....with Canadian education and Canadian work experience of 2 or 3 years - even without the NYSC which people have shared works, you should have a very healthy CRS. Unless none of your WE (foreign and Canadian) was 1 yr continuous. Have you read through the NYSC cases on NL? Why are you skeptical that it will not fly nowadays?

Anyway....please forgive my rant.......I just think these guys sometimes suggest options they wouldn't take if it were their personal application.

Hey thanks for the reply, I totally understand where you’re coming from. I did get another (white) lawyers opinion and he told me to withdraw as well. Although an RCIC agent told me to send webform but this wasn’t paid advice.

Regarding what I will do in subsequent pr applications. I will not claim the experience to give me points for the job I didn’t mention in my study permit but I will mention it in my personal history. And I will come clean in LOE that after getting advice from lawyers I didn’t want to risk a ban while a child is coming so in good faith I had to withdraw. My application didn’t even get to BIL stage so no officer looked at it yet. Hope the officers see where I’m coming from.

For NYSC I’m skeptical because the lawyer told me it won’t work but I’m realizing now she’s just in it for the money. So I’ll try my luck with NYSC. Last last if I don’t get it I’ll come back home and work for a year and try again. Marrying that woman isint an option lol.

Thanks for your worry I really appreciate it. Should have used NL

Hello everyone. I am having an issue joining the express entry pool. The status says i am ineligible twice. I am guessing the reason for this is because my spouse hasn’t done ielts. I was thinking i could enter the pool atleast, and then update profile later. My question now is, can i join the pool as a single applicant even though i am married?

you're missing out some information which isn't even your wife's IELTS. I once had the issue too. I kept trying until my profile was created. I can't really specify what you're missing out but please keep trying to create the profile

You're missing a particular information, happened to me, continued until i discovered that my number of work hours calculation was wrong. Yours may be different but check that first

What is your ielts score. Did you get a minimum of 6.5 in each? That could prevent you from being eligible if you do not have 6.5min across individual scores

Hello everyone, I’ve got an M.A. in Theatre Arts, a B.A. in Literature, and an HND in Business admin. All my work experience is in management. I’m looking to apply for PNP, but I noticed a lot of them require your education to match the job experience you’re claiming. Does anyone know if I can still go ahead with the application even though my highest degree (MA) does not relate to the field but I have an HND that matches the job. Thank you
Hello Everyone please I still need answer to this question. Thank you

It depends on the PNP. You would need to check each province and for each province, search through the requirements of each program. For SINP for example, this is the rule for one of their programs.

Hi everyone, I have something that’s been keeping me a bit worried, so I got ITA Dec 16 2024
AOR Dec 17 2024
Mil/bil Jan 28 2025
Eligibility passed Feb 20 2025
Pre arrival mail April 3 2025
Now waiting for bgv to be completed and get my PPR,
But I included in my application that my husbands US visit visa was revoked in 2019 when I wanted to apply and go with him for a trip. The visa officer said we should apply together as a family instead of him using his individual visa he got prior to marriage ( I think she didn’t believe we were truly married). I hope this won’t cause any issues. Since then he hasn’t attempted to reapply as we have our focus on Canada. I haven’t reached the 6 months processing timeline yet but I can’t help but worry 🥲

I don't have a response to your question but I couldn't help but notice how prepared you were pre ITA.
You got AoR the following day after ITA? That's some real speed. This is what I hope to do too if luck smiles on me this week.

Thank you @GraciousWords that was such an extensive write up! Please I have a question, is is possible for the a principal applicant and the spouse to submit passport at 2 separate VACs, at 2 different times even though the PPr letter bears only principal applicant's name and says to submit passport of the principal applicant's and those of the accompanying family members together in a single package.

Quick question. If I am invited over to canada. Do I automatically get matched with a job or it's just an ordinary invitation and I still have to go find work there?

Work experience does NOT need to match education/degree for FSW (except for practicing Doctors/Pharmacists). Read page one for more.
