This is not the state IGR. It is the LG IGR collected per state.

Ogun is still the third state with the most IGR after Lagos and Rivers.

But in the Local government arm, Ebonyi is second.

Every LGA generates IGR. After all, market women pay levies and bus drivers buy tickets. The problem is that such money is probably not accounted for.

Lagos figure must be a joke!!

Either that, or the people in the LGs are stealing 90% of all their levies.

Hhmmm...

Very very misleading data.

Well, it's no secret that many local politicians have hijacked LGA IGR ...They share various departments within themselves in that LGAs and make money not being remitted to the Government.

See states recoding less than #200 Million in a whole calendar year as IGRhuh

We are talking about LGA where they collect manners of levies... Transport, shops, building permits, waste, borehole drilling, market levies, illegal turning, one way driving, wrong parking and all kinds of levies...how come they are reporting peanuts as OGRhuh

Embezzlement galore at the LGA!!!

How are these figures populated?

The numbers there dont make sense

Of late we havd had a flurry of such 'statistical' posts here with very few asking how these numbers come about, what methodology is used and how dependable the figures are
