That would worsen the glut in the international market. Eventually oyel will be selling for 40 dollars per barrel.

We would be back to square one.

When tinubu was saying he would increase oil production to 4 m bpd, I just laughed. LIke the guy has forgotten why we have OPEC....and why OPEC Is powerless these days over oil

Wike is certainly causing issues for the government...but let's assume there was no crisis in Rivers.

We would be by now producing oil at less than 60 dollars per barrel. Meanwhile our budget baseline is 75 dollars.

The real problem is that 80% of our government revenue comes from oil...which has been the case since 1999, and even before then it was 96%

If our government cannot diversify, this is what you get. Problem with oil...problem with economy

Nigeria was borrowing when we were at 2.3 million BPD and oil was above 100 dollars per barrel.

Either way you look at it, 1.6 m BPD can't sustain 220 million people.
