1. Books :
When I say books, I am not saying romantic novels or chemistry text books, I mean rich and powerful books like "animal farm", rich dad poor dad, millionaires next door etc. You can't be top of your game without reading books

2. Social media presence
You might have heard of two different sayings, one that says "Social media corrupts" and the other that says "social media enlightens". They are both correct but I'll let you decide what to do with your social media presence, you could either follow Steve Harvey's show or follow contents that shows big booty, it's ur data.

3. Have a linkedIn account:
There are millions of people on linkedIn and are looking for potentials employees, you can gain tremendously from LinkedIn

4. Control what you consume on social media
I advice you to limit your Nairaland surfing to only frontpage, but if you must follow someone, I'll advice you follow some of the mods like fergie001 or mynd44.
But in all u do, avoid the redpillers and political nuisance, most of them are broken and frustrated.

5. Know about tech: every industry is adopting tech. hospitality, tourism, housing, medicine, agriculture are all looking forward to gain from tech, so it's better you have one tech knowledge just incase

6. Have international passport:
I know a lot of people will ask what will I do with a passport? I have no interest travelling. Seriously you shouldn't underestimate the uncertainty that comes with the future, just get a passport, it cost just 85k to get a 5yr passport.

7. Have a degree and certifications
School degree is good but have other certifications from Udemy and other platform to boost ur knowledge and be on top of ur career

8. Have a source of income
No matter how small, try and earn something, this will save u from mental breakdown and see finish attitude from people.

9. Be healthy Both mental, psychological, spiritual and physical health is important. Health is wealth and do not neglect it.

10. Have a plan and a focus for ur life and dedicate ur time to achieve it
There is one of Celine Dion's song with lyrics that says "for I have found a dream that must come true, every ounce of me must see it through.. I think it's one of my best lyrics in a song.
In ur 30's, you must have a plan for your life, set life goals and objectives to achieve that goal, else u end up throwing ur life for someone else's selfish ambition.

11. Build connections with people better than you
Don't underestimate the power of connection, degree is good, but connections will drop you where u want to be, attend events and connect with people.

12. Avoid gambling, hard drugs and womanizing
Just avoid these three if you want to succeed in life

Nice one. But that side you said " avoid redpillers".. for me, I won't. This redpill stuffs have saved from wahala. Infact, I have learnt a lot. Though I'm mindful of what I consume herein NL.. including comments in order not to be led astray.

Many Nigerians in their 30s have all of these and even more but very little to show because of the many corrupt people in government stealing the common wealth.

All those things are rubbish without no 11. In Nigeria all you need is no. 11. Imagine say Seyi Tinubu na my guy now, even if all I do is lay on my bed, chooking hands inside boxers without shirt and insulting people on nairaland all day I for be millionaire.
