pocohantas:Guava is becoming a rare or extinct fruit in Nigeria now. People should try and plant fruits in their homes. I want to cultivate guava this year. Looking for viable guava seeds at the moment. |

Need to be more pragmatic and determined with my fruit planting this year. The bananas did not do well as planned last year, but the mango and pawpaw did well. More fruits to be planted this year . |

| Re: How Much Fruits Do You Take? by budaatum: 3:54pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
This is the sort of thread that makes me miss home. I'd simply go to my farm and pluck oranges and pawpaws to eat, or buy a basket of avocado or mangoes in the market. Now I'm left buying expensive pawpaw in the market. The lime are a pound a bowl.

Apples, Pineapples, Blackberries and Bananas. Na here I notice say fruits are damn expensive, but the quality is very high and country grown fruits tend to be larger in sizes. But compared to other developed countries, fruits are too expensive in this part of the world. |

pocohantas:Go for FarmFresh GUAVA juice 100% natural. That is what i usually take since real Guava may be scarce at times. If you are in Lagos , simply visit any Jendol Superstores for it. It's #1700 there ( a bigger bottle ). |

| Re: How Much Fruits Do You Take? by Mariangeles(f): 4:51pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
Redman44:Honestly! It's good to have something fruitful to look forward to. Our pawpaw trees are doing really well, and yielding. The mango plant is already growing. I plan to grow oranges, and some herbs like moringa, aloe vera, and oha. |
| Re: How Much Fruits Do You Take? by budaatum: 5:05pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
Mariangeles:I'd be rich too, since my farm is full of pawpaw. Unfortunately, pawpaw does not export well from Nigeria. By the time you've plucked them, transported them to the port and dealt with custom shenanigans, they'd all have rotted. |
| Re: How Much Fruits Do You Take? by budaatum: 5:07pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
Godfullsam:I'd blame your teeth. Not everyone's teeth do pineapple hang to. Incidentally, do you not eat meat too? |
| Re: How Much Fruits Do You Take? by Redman44(m): 5:08pm On Apr 12, 2025 |
Mariangeles:Nice one. I believe the rains this year will aid the remaining banana plants to grow very well. I planted the bananas and plantains around October last year when the rains were not as heavy again. Now, the bananas and plantains will have more months of rain to feed their growth . I planted about 5 Cocoa seedlings too last year. This year, I plan to plant Citrus fruits like oranges and tangerines. Nice to know you love planting fruits too. |
