I don't understand this country at all.

How can you blame a lawmaker for a security issue? Tinubu controls the Police, DSS, Nigerian Army, National Intelligence Agency, Civil Defence, Customs, Immigration and every other security architecture in Nigeria, but it is Ndume that should be ashamed that 120k southern Borno people are in IDP camps? What level of ignorance is this?

He went further to say he should mention projects he has done for his people. For goodness sake what kind of project is he talking about?

The other day the clowns on Arise TV are saying Senator Imasuen didn't do the road to his house. Only Abati reminded them that that is not the job of a lawmaker.

Senator Akpoti started a medical outreach programme for her constituents and people on nairaland are saying she's the best senator.

Asin, which kind school we de go for this country sef? So many so called graduates from the so called top universities don't even know what a lawmaker should do and shouldn't do. And when those lawmakers pad budget, you turn around to call them all sorts of names.

As for Tinubu, I believe those around him are not informing him of the true state of affairs. Tinubu is extremely unpopular in the North. Even the few northerners in his administration would not dare to promote Tinubu to the masses in the region.

A presidential spokesman affirming that they are local governments in Nigeria that are no-go areas does not align with what we've been gaslighted with by the persons in charge of security in the country. It also confirms what governor Zulum said recently and makes the response by the minister of information urging Nigerians to ignore Zulum to be very callous and unfortunate. Nigerians didn't vote Senator Ndume to be in charge of security
