Eyaa! This Earth is Truly a Temporal Home. Don't live your life as though you will remain here for ever. Everyone has his/her inevitable appointed time. Try to Do Good before you depart. Positive Legacies have no equal. Christian Chukwu has finished his own. Rest in Peace Sir. Do you know you will equally answer this call one day? Just be Good!
I understand your point but doing good cannot save anyone

We must believe on Jesus Christ as our Lord and savior

May his soul rest in peace.

His name rings a bell and depicts excellence. Austino Milano should drop a tribute.

Christian + Chukwu
Chairman is gone.

It was Late Stephen Keshi that lifted the trophy in 1994 not Christian Chukwu.
Chukwu lifted it as captain in 1980 but was Assistant Coach to Westerhof when they lifted it in 1994

The first man to lift the AFCON as captain for Nigeria and the first African to lift the trophy as both captain and coach in 1980 & 1994 and he was a proud & confirmed Igbo man
It’s notable that many Igbo individuals who have achieved significant success tend to distance themselves from Biafra, thereby avoiding the negative attitudes often associated with that identity, such as being involved in drug dealing or trafficking. In fact, those Igbo who embrace and identify themselves as Biafrans are often fake drug merchants and traffickers.

Chukwu’s achievements were possible because he did not align himself with the Biafran identity throughout his life. I believe that had he identified as a Biafran, he would have likely faced severe consequences, possibly even serving lengthy prison sentences in various parts of the world, similar to many Igbo individuals identifying as Biafrans who are currently serving harsh jail terms abroad.

But where were all the so called Igbo Billionaires when the man needed them most?
Was it not one of the Yorubas called Michael Otedola that God used for him?
You should be ashamed of yourself!!!

You are looking at wrongly. His tribe is Igbo, the poster acknowledged him as a Nigerian and a pround Igbo man. That should be an issue.
it was not necessary he is only being a tribal bigot

The Chairman..

2nd longest reigning captain of the Super Eagles (Green Eagles then)...8 years. Only surpassed by late Stephen Keshi.

He was not, you are the one using unconscious bias. If you notice he denigrated no one. He extolled Christian Chukwu's virtues as a Nigerian and rhe first Nigerian to life the Nations Cup trophy, and he now recognised his tribe as an Igbo man.

Stop carrying fake rumor and stories. There was an Egyptian coach who was the first , followed by Steven keshi . Chukwu was never a head coach but Keshi was an he was the first Nigeria indigenous coach that led the SE to lift the trophy for the second time and as the first player and coach to achieve that feat in Nigeria
Hossam Hassan, the Egyptian if I am not mistaken.

There are some of the ignorant comments of some of these barely literate, half educated guys on this forum that one reads and just move on.

Thank God you punched his bubble.

He could have died then.
It was a shame of a tribe then in case you have forgotten.

He could have died at that time.

Saying he still died actually showed you are the clown.

Only a five year old will argue like that. But of course, that is your identity on this platform.

You should have asked him what he did to support Chukwu as Igbo man when he was sick. It was a detribalised Nigerian and Yoruba man, Otedola that took care of Chukwu.

Aiyejina

Billionaire businessman, Femi Otedola, spent N36,635,000 for the medical bills of former Super Eagles captain and coach Christian Chukwu, our correspondent has learnt.

Chukwu returned to the country on Friday after undergoing surgery and treatment at the Wellington Hospital, London, courtesy Otedola.

The oil mogul came to the 1980 Africa Cup of Nations winner’s rescue in April, when Grand Patron of Ex-Enugu Rangers Players Association, Benson Ejindu, through a Facebook post, revealed that Chukwu was very sick and in urgent need of support to enable him gets medical attention overseas.

I am not sure any Igbo billionaire did half of this for him

Otedola, a detribalised Nigerian who didn't identify himself as proud Yoruba man, saved CC life, because he was a hero for Nigeria, who played fir Nigeria in 1980, not Biafra

He wasn't incharge in 94

Keshi was the first man to lift it as both captain n coach.

In 1994, the Nigerian national team, known as the Super Eagles, was coached by Clemens Westerhof, a Dutch coach. Christian Chukwu, a former captain and later a coach himself, assisted Westerhof. The team's trip to Tunisia was for the 1994 Africa Cup of Nations, where they won the title

May his soul rest in peace. Many of his team mates on AFCON 1980 are already dead.

The only player that stood and shook Shehu Shagari's hand because we Igbos do not prostrate to human beings, while others were prostrating for the then president of Nigeria as they received their gold medals after winning the cup of nations in 1980.
Keep quiet, Mkpurumini monkey!

Your blodas always always prostrate and lick Nnamdi Kanu's shoes.
