Kano State Government tells ECOWAS court.

The Kano State Government has defended its blasphemy laws against a verdict by the ECOWAS Court of Justice, asserting the constitutional right to uphold religious sanctity within its jurisdiction.

Why not Kano leaves Nigeria, forms its own country of Islamists & skip ECOWAS membership?
Many northern states leave their primary responsibilities to citizens and keep chasing shadows.
For example, Kano has nearly 1mln out-of-school kids, 1/3 of entire Bayelsa State population & chiefly exports ahmajirin beggars and, now, Uromi hunters to other states in Nigeria. Shameless people

I haven't seen the contents of the so-called Kano Blasphemy Law, but I hope it is not only about Islam. I believe the law also serves same punishment for blasphemies against Jesus and our traditional religions because what's good for the goose is also good for the gander.

Someone should divide this country, I dont understand why, one region want to move forward and another want to go back.. Nigeria expire 2014.. I think it's about we stop forcing it, it's obvious we are not one Nigeria mentally and in any other way of life.
