It's in the market and some sellers list it here too. DYOR before picking a brand cutefy: |

Mrreed:Good evening people, In my quest of finding panels that generate 100% of their rated power, I found that mono perc panels does this well. There isn't enough data/video of topcon panels to indicate they do this too even though topcon is stated to have more efficiency than mono perc. So, please, if you have any panel like jinko that uses topcon technology, kindly state the highest wattage you've gotten from them. |

GloryJoyeux:Bro I am a newbie to all these stuff and I want to purchase a solid bybrid inverter or solar gen system. My apartment total load is between 1Kw to 1.6Kw. I am looking at a budget of 2.5m. Please advise. So many information out here. Gets pretty confusing deciding on what to settle for. Need your guidance please on a solid system to settle for. Thanks in advance |

maklelemakukula:Jinko: Technology used : P type ( 25yrs) Technology used: N type ( latest) Difference is about 12% plus 30yrs warranty |

maklelemakukula:Perc is a new solar panel technology. People believe that perc solar panels, charges at night (not totally true) but then, it has good efficiency in trapping energy even in poor climate |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Dam5reey(m): 9:14am On Apr 13, 2025 |
Mavor:your total load is different from consumption. Consumption is what you need to size. 2.5M will get you 6kva Inverter and 10/15kwh battery... Buy use understand your consumption and size for the panels to take you partly or off Grid. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Mavor: 9:42am On Apr 13, 2025 |
Dam5reey:I have done the total consumption estimate calculation. Please see below. And the 2.5m covers panels (4 x Jinko 550w and above minimum), accessories and installation fee. Device Quantity Power (Watt) per unit Total Power (Watts) 52" LG Flat TV 1 ~120 W 120 W Laptop 2 ~60 W 120 W PS5 Pro 1 ~220 W 220 W Xbox Series X 1 ~200 W 200 W Standing Fan 2 ~70 W 140 W Refrigerator (medium) 1 ~150 W (avg running) 150 W Energy Bulbs (LED, 10W) 10 10 W 100 W Water Dispenser 1 ~550 W (heating + cooling) 550 W |

BigDickProblems:use a dc solar cable or battery terminal cables instead. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Nobody: 10:07am On Apr 13, 2025 |
fuckboys:Yeah. I’ll get a new one. The previous one was from Josh. It’s also a solar cable, but obviously not so great. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by AinsSama: 10:28am On Apr 13, 2025 |
Mavor:Welcome fellow enthusiast. 3.5kw 24V hybrid inverter (Welion, Sako, SMS, Growatt) - 350k 5 600W or higher-rated Solar panels (Jinko, Canadian) - 700-800k 24V 10kwh Lithium battery (Deriy, CWorth, SMS, Sako, DIY) - 1.3-1.6m Installation materials and installation fee- whatever change is left will do this. Make sure whatever item you're getting is genuine. Reach out if you need any assistance in getting them. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Mavor: 10:43am On Apr 13, 2025 |
AinsSama:Thank you. Does the inverter come with the solar charger and controller? Can you help rank the inverter and battery from best to worse in terms of performance metrics - fast battery charge by solar, intelligent load balancing, intelligent inverter system, ability to monitor remotely via Wi-Fi, economical discharge on 80% to 100% load, etc? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by maklelemakukula(m): 11:47am On Apr 13, 2025 |
dollarnaira:Thanks, but I'm talking about real world capacity of both topcon and perc. I've seen reaults of a perc of 665w doing 700w, but topcon has sparse user reviews even thoug they say its an advancement on perc. Anybody who has bought the jinko 590w recently from fouani, please whats the highest instantaneous power it has generated for you |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by maklelemakukula(m): 11:50am On Apr 13, 2025 |
Obnoxious2001:Yea, options seem to be limited right now to topcon, so I want to see real world usage data on topcon to know if I should just get it right now or wait until the perc I need arrives Nigeria |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 11:53am On Apr 13, 2025 |
maklelemakukula:My Jinko 580w panels have made about 97% rated power in the past. |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 12:01pm On Apr 13, 2025 |
Mavor:Growatt 48v 6kw - ~500k Eight Jinko 550w - 1m Not sure if there's a 10kwh Deriy pack but it's probably your best option here. You go need extend your budget to 3m last last but this should take you off-grid entirely. |

Used 5KW Gennex Transformerless inverter still available. Issue:- Max DC charging 20amps when charging with grid. 300k 0818-242-4406 Victoria Island, Lagos.

HeavenlyBang:Thank you for your feedback. Please if I am unable to locate a 10kwh Deriy LiPo4 battery, what is the next best option? Also can you recommend a vendor in Lagos that also handles installation based on the prices you are proposing? Thanks. |

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 1:27pm On Apr 13, 2025 |
Mavor:Buy these things yourself and get someone to install them. I'm not sure about the battery, but Cworth and Felicity sell battery packs. Valto and Mrreed build packs as well. Opistorincos:Fouani.

| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by HeavenlyBang(m): 1:30pm On Apr 13, 2025 |
maklelemakukula:Well, I have three 580w panels and a 550w in series, which should make ~2200w. I make 1.8kw continuous on a good day of sunlight. So about 82% output, which is well within spec considering other factors.
