Take FIRS for instance, I have interfaced with their staff on several occasions, and you begin to wonder how they manage to be there. Though some are good, but just a few out of many. People who have been into tax audit, tax investigation...... for years won't be considered just because they don't know any big man.

My brother the scourge has eaten deeper than you can imagine, even some( I repeat some ) multinationals are no longer merit based. I happen to work under a supervisor who's field of study is totally unaligned with his job role but....that's how life is. That's y advise people to invest more digital software skills than focusing more on grades, even that path has some thorny challenges in today's Nigeria.

Same thing am facing am a tutor that can revolutionize the teaching and learning processes but after applying to a tertiary institution for a Job they didn't consider because I know get anybody but when it comes to application am good at what I do presently a teacher in the secondary school hoping I will get a chance to leave the country one day to where talents are valued over connection.

No idea abt the current package, but it was 280k 4yrs ago, Entry level.

I guess they are to resume at the end of this month.

There's more zo University Academic work than you being a tutor in a private school somewhere especially without teaching qualifications

1. Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) will share soon ( if you study engineering or any related course you can go to their HQ and submit your CV)

2. Federal University Babura Issuing of APL is ongoing.. you can still push.

3. Security Exchange Commission: The recruitment will be massive than expected. They are about to open offices in each geo- political zone

4. Civil Defense will open portal any moment

5. Almost all higher institutions that applied have been given waiver to recruit. (I'll list them soon)

The attention of the Federal Civil Service Commission (FCSC) has been drawn to a publication circulating on various social media and online platforms, sending spurious invite to inform candidates of being shortlisted for FCSC job recruitments that closed in March 17th, 2025.
We emphatically declare that information contain in the publication did not emanate from the Commission and those online publications are fictitious and should be disregarded.
The Commission cautions the public to be wary of fake recruitment syndicates and racketeers requesting payment from them, as the Commission will never demand any money from shortlisted candidates.
