Black Mirror S07 Review
As usual, the first episode ended with tragedy and giving an insight into the "future" where we get 'subscription-based humans'. 7/10
2nd episode tried to explain or rationalize the Mandela Effect we may or might have experienced, only issue I had was the 'transfer of power'. I know it's just a series but it felt unrealistic. 7/10.
3rd episode, I felt it could have been more, maybe the AI character becoming sentient and all but that didn't happen, if they had been able to send Brandy the part they didn't watch in real time, it would have been better for me, plus I don't like Issa Rae. 6/10.
4th episode, This reminded of Arcane, the one mindedness nonsense Victor did and it ended badly, almost similar story. Didn't like it. That despite more processing power and graphics card, the "Throngs" didn't improve graphically. Still looked liked it did in the 90s. 5/10
5th episode, Didn't like the episode, na fast forward I take watch am. Didn't like the dance and beating around the bush that they did all through, only to unveil her face at the end by listening to audio. 4/10.
6th episode. As the adage says or whatever, save the best for last, for the first time in 7 seasons of Black Mirror, they brought back a story and concluded it. The story of USS Callister was brought back to a befitting ending. 9/10.
I think just the 1st and the last episode brought life to this season. Overall Rating 6.5/10 |
