If DEA has anything serious on Tinubu, they would have charged him to court on the strength of the evidence as far back as 1993. If they evaluated their case in 1993 and jointly with FBI decide to reach an out of court settlement without prejudice, what new thing do you think they can come up with now?

This is at a time when Argentina, a country with similar economic challenges with Nigeria as at 2023 just got another $20billion loan from IMF to boost their foreign reserve. Just yesterday, Fitch upgraded Nigeria’s credit rating to a strong B. Food inflation is also at a record decline.

Instead of us discussing all these positive developments and more, we are now being distracted by nonsense FBI DEA records that has achieved nothing since 2023.

Interesting, David Hundeyin said "Exemptions were used to redact the file" but the document containing the "ruling" says "Non-exempt files should be released".

I understand this as "exempt files would still not be released (if there are any) and the exemptions still stand".

Can anyone help clear up my misunderstanding of the words used please?

What will you now say about Trump who is a convict,a real confirmed criminal ruling the USA?
Tinubu's case has always been just allegations which have been going on for 30 years without substance.
If Tinubu had done drugs,he would have been convicted.The story was,as a young man who just arrived USA, he lived with some older kibsmen who were into drugs while he was with a firm in USA.
His bank account was used by this older person for some money gotten from drug but he was found to be innocent but had to forfeit some amount because of the obvious.
He was found to be innocent of drug dealings.
His detractors have been using this for decades just to tarnish his name because it had always been a goose chase.

USA doesn't play with druggies even if he is a president tankless of Tinubu that had nothing then.
