if you have like 2.5m you want to play with and time to attend class for 1 year you can and CANT do any other thing if you are attending alliance francaise it a focus course

Speaking is one of the most advanced forms of learning a language. You would have crossed the benchmarks of reading and writing before you attain speaking and then listening. I think the fastest route for speaking is by immersion and this entails frequent exchange with other listeners and speakers who can correct you.

Its best you sign up for a standard french program after which you visit a francophone country. Thankfully, a lot of African countires are francophone and we are bordered on all corners by francophone countries.
