Sad! I think this drug trafficking has become rampant in Nigeria because there are no serious consequences for drugs related offences.

LOL...some people believe that nothing happens without risk.

There are a lot of people involved in drug trafficking because transporting drugs, even across a relatively short distance can yield one enough money that would t.ake a year to earn.

In the UK, there are drug mules called county line transporters. They are teenagers who transport drugs for the local drug cartels because the police won't search a teenager. And they get paid. A LOT. All of a sudden a teenager who has no visible source of income is wearing designer clothing...and him no steal am? (It was so bad in one Ghanaian-British household, that the father of the house had to send his son back to Ghana for schooling because the boy was suddenly wearing designer clothing...and it was way beyond what the pocket money his father was giving. When the boy sued his father from Ghana for 'abuse' the father came to court and told the truth...his son was a drug mule. The boy's case was dismissed).

It does not matter how illegal we make drugs. There are still people that carry drugs into Indonesia and Malaysia, despite knowing that it is a death sentence ...because nothing comes without risk. Sadly that good maxim is used to encourage people into crime...and quick money.

Is it true? Could it be a tribal influenced setup. To make the igbos look bad to other non Nigerians like Cameroon, in order to make Cameroon and other Africans and non Africans, view igbos in a bad light. So that when they cannot hide their genocide, it will seem justified, and might need their help.


This and many more Nigerian claimed crimes are questionable. sw people do heinous drug activities across Benin republic and vice versa everyday, and no one picks up their case; same as Nigeria and chad or niger republic borders, no pim on these areas.
