A Black American man, serving a 131-years-to-life sentence, has shared how he keeps hope alive despite his circumstances.

Explaining his journey, he said, "I came to jail when I was 20, and I am 50 today. I had no idea what was happening when I first arrived—I thought it was the end of my life." He added that his son was only two years old when he was incarcerated, but now his son is 32 and has given him three grandsons.

He explained that his entire life has changed, and that his son and grandsons have provided him with a new perspective on life.
When asked how he manages to maintain his hope, he replied, "Really, it's my son. The way he sees me and acknowledges me—he has never been hard on me for not being there—that alone motivates me. And when I look at my grandsons, they truly inspire me. I have never experienced that kind of love in my life; it's a constant source of motivation."

In the U.S. freedom is priceless hence the only thing he is missing. The country too sweet, so freedom means a lot. Events and trips everywhere. Parties and shows.
Although the prison accords him prison etiquette now

Stay away from crime.

The only difference between him and some of us down here is the fact that he isn't privileged to be seeing the outside world like us...

But then again,when you look at it with more careful and critical eyes, you'd see we are all in prisons,but different categories

Just tell us what you did and stop with the sob story. By the way, there is nothing emotional about his predicament. If you do the crime, it's only fair that you do the time.

He looks well kept and groomed from haircuts to nicely trimmed beards.

Neat uniform even with headphones .

Being imprisoned In the USA is better than freedom in Nigeria.

Since the starting of the year, sometimes I wish I could just be locked up from the world.
