Just like Ikwerres abi.

You guys will just be behaving as if this your Igbo tribe is the superior tribe in the world.
But know it that you are most hated people in Nigeria because of this your attitudes of feeling superior to others.
Shut up there!
Who told the igbos are the most hated in Nigeria? Where did you get that information from?

Siminialayi is the correct spelling. It means "a poor man can birth a rich child".

It is an Ibani name.

Write "A poor man can birth a rich child" in Southern Ijaw language let's see if its Siminialayi. grin
I'm Eastern ijaw it's spelt that way . That is why Opobo and bonny use it that way .
Opobo and bonny are Eastern ijaw

But some people claimed Fubara from Opobo is an Igbo man
It's very complicated opobo people speak igbo as their native dialect while they politically align with the ijaw nation.

He is blinded by greed and lust despite the money he has made,

He should slow down and be contented with the wealth he has acquired.

He should mend fenses and give olive branch and apologize to all those he has offended in one way or the other.

he speaks Igbo fluently but chooses ijaw ethnic group as tribe.

Many parts of Anambra speak Igala but identify as Igbo.
Stop this nonsense, speaking igbo doesn't make one igbo...all these nonsense ideology won't take you guys far. Does speaking English make you English?

Over centuries of transition of language among borde communities have made languages transferred from its borders to others that doesn't make those communities same. Marriage has also contributed to this.

In Opobo/Bonny, Igbo is commonly spoken, a tradition that dates back to the era of the transatlantic slave trade. The Igbo people were frequently sold as slaves through the Bonny route, and many chose to remain in Bonny, leading to the dominance of the Igbo language in the area. King Pepple of Bonny was a prominent figure in the slave trade.

However, the prevailing culture in Bonny/Opobo is Ijaw. Their customs, attire, titles, and names originate from the Ijaw tribe. Additionally, they have their own Ijaw language, Ibani
Don't mind that dude

The person who posted the video is mischievous. He cut the video without posting it completely. Tom Polo called out Sim. He Called him an ingrate. Called Wike his friend. And told everyone that negotiations are going for Wike to forgive Sim. And that by God's grace Sim.may return.

Please shut up there, Opobo Nkoro people are from Ijaw nation.

Those people you are calling Igbos just check where they are living in Igbo land and see if it is not always close to the waters like Ijaw people do.

I thought as much because his surveillance contract has not been renewed,

You don't insult the crocodile until you cross the river.

Wike can throw spanners into the works.

That aside, wike is fighting too many battles, he's already seen as an enemy of the ijaws.

The discussion is not about whether Fubara is Ijaw or Igbos.
The issue here is for the governor to Return to His elected Post.
This is someone that thinks straight. Lots of people have lost the ability to focus

Fubara made it to look so. Meanwhile those of us who are not Ijaw see Wike as the person bold enough to tell Ijaw the truth. The same thing Wike said Tom Polo just said it. Ijaw is only majority in Bayelsa. They are minority elsewhere in the Niger Delta. Any appointments that come to the Niger Delta Ijaw believes they must own it. They believe they are synonymous with Niger Delta. There are other big tribes in Niger Delta as well.

Government shouldn't make the mistake of not renewing tantitta contract, even if it's split among different group this time around, he should also get his share. This government must not make the kind of mistake Buhari made in 2015.

Yes the Ijaws have only one state (,Bayalsa state).

But their various communities in different states produces the chunk of oil that gave them the status of oil producing state, which translate to being paid the oil derivation fund that runs into hundreds of millions every month.

What have the state government of this states done for these communities, nothing.there's no iota of infrastrural development,no hospital, schools, good motorable roads, electricity etc

Yes the Ijaws are the goose that's laying the golden eggs in the various states they are scattered in and they deserved the big brother respect.

That's what is happening

He doesn't know that the yorubas are chameleon, they will abandon him if not today it will be tomorrow. It is in history, there grandfather awolowo did it. We business people are seen it everyday in the market. A yoruba man will offend you and a fellow Yoruba man saw that a fellow Yoruba had offended you. You too stays side by side in the shop. He knows that the fellow is the offender he will rather support him because they are brothers.

Oga please say things the way they are and damm the consequences.
Opobo was bought from the King of Ndoki by the famiuse Jaja and he moved his entire family and his IJAW slaves to settle there, imany years after the death of Jaja, the IJAW clan there started laying claim to the throne of Jaja, claiming the land belongs to IJAW but after many years of protracted legal battle, the supreme court declared that the Opobo Island is the personal Estate of King Jaja and his offspring is the sole heir to his kingdom, that's the reason why Jaja children has been the king of that Island ever since.. The famiuse Mike Ahamba was one of the SANs that stood for the Jajas family.
So, if Jaja is from Amaigbo in Imo state and never forgot his root which he passed down to his children who still visit their dads clan till date are not Igbos just because the land they migrated to has converted them, then every IJAW man outside Bayelsa are not Ijaws cos every settlement they claim was first esterblished by one man who paddled his canoe like Jack Sparrow to one presumed empty Island.

Read my last statement "However, the prevailing culture in Bonny/Opobo is Ijaw. Their customs, attire, titles, and names originate from the Ijaw tribe. Additionally, they have their own Ijaw language, Ibani"..Even the Opobo man go tell you say him be Ijaw man. And what is so special for an opobo man or Bonny man to be an ijaw man or igbo man.
Does it come with any special benefithuh Do you know the lineage of the English man..From your Assertion above, An Englishman or british man is actually a German, Norwegian and celt etc.

I and Gov. Douye Diri may differ in opinion, but we are Ijaws and will always settle our differences.

We have only one state as Ijaws, if you try Bayelsa State you will suffer.

"In Rivers State, our son Siminalayi Fubara will return and sit on the throne."

- High Chief Government Oweizide Ekpemepulo aka Tompolo speaking on his 54th Birthday Anniversary.

It's a terrible misfortune to be a Yoruba man in Nigeria, one has to share a country with terrorists, Vagabonds, despicable clans to the north, south and east.
