Any company can operate in China but they must adhere to Chiness laws. There are alot of US companies in China incase you don't know. Regarding the trade deficit, It's not a must that China must buy from US. US decided to import alot of things from US because they are very cheap not because China forced US to. China as a country have the right to source for cheap products in other parts of the world. Beside you don't know that China was the highest importer of US micro chips before US decided to ban them from buying them. You cannot refuse to sell what people want to them and try to force them to buy what they don't want.

Trade war isn't nice.
The average American works less but earns far more than the average Chinese. This increase in tariff will affect both countries .China will be hit the hardest but you'll never know cos their government will play it down in cover ups.
