Earthquakes:
Companies will hardly employ women now.
Imagine someone on your payroll doing nothing for 2 years in the name of maternity leave.
Some of them gets pregnant again before two years; so basically in 6yrs, some of them only worked 2yrs yet received full 6yrs payments..

It will affect women eventually..

They need to put a protection clause because i see Nigerian Bosses sacking their staff on maternity leave because they have gotten a better staff.

Instead of making bills to have every work place to establish day care sections manned by nurses and midwives and intermittent breaks given to Nursing mothers to go and breast feed their new born. Women will be viewed as unproductive and irrelevant at work places. Last census showed that women were more in population than men, The birth ratio from hospitals shows that more females are born compared to males. Men will be unduly over laboured and it will worsen the life expectancy of men. Throw that bill out of the window and get a bill to force organization, companies and businesses to designate a section of their building as Day Care with competent nannies employed to cater for the kids of staff. This will enable the mother concentrate at work.

Everything is geared to favor women. From the right of girl child to that of grown women. I haven't seen any advocacy to protect the interest of men, even boy child. And it's men that are making those laws.

I remember when I was breast feeding my son .he will stretch his hand and be touching my face.

Then I will put his feet in my mouth.

You will think he is sleeping but once nipple leaves his mouth by mistake,his eyes will open and shine and a cry will follow.
That was the best experience I have ever had in my entire life.

I sha wish my mother or mother-in-law made ofe nsala for me (do oyinbos belief in pepper soup for women that just delivered??) or someone was there to press my belly or tie my belle. I was 19.

It was only me,with a husband that was always travelling in a foreign country.

And a Christian sister that use to occasionally visit.

Feminist better protest against this bill now because in 20 years time it will widen the gap between men and women in leadership positions and another clamour for adequate representation will start. A stitch in time saves nine.
