You made a good point here and if one wants to help, do it from a distance and without cameras. I'm sure the Chinese embassy will warn their citizens not to offer any monetary assistance to Nigerians in full glare.

I don't do anything with the hopes of getting free money or tips. If it comes, good. If nothing, one moves on. What if you live in a place where tips are forbidden? What would you do?

And the Chinese man may ask them to beat their fellow country men and they will gleefully do it. This country is full of shameless people. Our government has no shame and it trickles down to the citizens.
