Panic has gripped the Otobi-Akpa community in Otukpo Local Government Area of Benue State following a fresh attack by suspected Fulani herdsmen on Tuesday evening.

DAILY POST gathered that several residents are feared dead, while numerous houses were set ablaze during the violent attack.

A local resident who spoke with DAILY POST revealed that the attackers stormed the village around 6 pm and began shooting indiscriminately at anyone in sight.

“They have been shooting and killing people since 6 pm. As we speak, our house and several others have been burnt down. We are helpless,” a distraught villager told DAILY POST.

At the time of this report, the exact number of casualties remains unclear as residents continue to flee for safety.

Which God? If the Benue indigenes feel like accepting defeats fine, if they also want to defend their land and lives at all cost fine.
More than 3 cult groups with useless youths are killing each other at Benue state and you think God would help them? God don't help foolish youths who would rather kill each other, and wait for their aged mother's to go naked and protest for the killings. Benue is another kind of state in this Nigeria, I don't think there's a state as shallow as Benue state in the South.
Medically they're poor, infrastructural sittings they are poor, educationally they are poor, security wise they're poor,human development they are zero,they're becoming poor in agriculture lately because they can't farm.

But why all these evil? This is just so painful.
One minute you are alive, and the next minute; a demon in human body ambushes you and your defenceless loved ones, killing everyone in the most gruesome manner ever.
Is this not a systematic ethnic cleansing going on in both Benue and Plateau state?
The more the government only condemns these attacks, but remain aloof with zero response, the more of these evil we will keep reading.
