| Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 24.2% by richmond500: 8:19pm On Apr 15, 2025 |
Brendaniel:Oga, inflation is calculated using consumer price index. It's is not ur average mathematics, there is someone that explained it last year. Just because price of food moved from 25k to 50k doesn't mean inflation is 100% high. It's not calculated that way |

jaxxy:Exactly! When a country is handed to a bunch of crooks, all with one kleg or the other, from allegations of drugs to credit card fraud, to stuffing dollars in agbada, Oluwole qualifications, unknown bsckgrounds etc. You hand a whole bank to bank robbers to manage, what do you expect? On the other hand, guess the best performing currency in the world today? The Russian rouble! The most sanctioned country in the history of the world, a country currently fighting over 50 countries at the same time. The currency appreciated 38% against the dollar! We no war, high oil prices, removal of subsidy in electricity, petrol, diesel etc yet our currency is deprecating, inflation is skyrocketing. https://finance.yahoo.com/news/russian-rouble-crowned-world-best-162446201.html |

Inflation is rising, infection is rising, Seyi's vice presidency position is rising. The only thing falling is Shetimma's grip on this government and sense on the supporters of this government. Country hard but a man with a functional brain will lie to himself, his God and men that Tinubu is working. Seyi nwa mkpi mkpada tell your father hunger dey.

richmond500:They there dey deceive yourself, I actually used AI to also do the calculation and it returned back over 1000% from 2015 to 2025 Then if you average it on all prices of goods and services in Nigeria you should be getting around 800-900%. You've been deceived big time... Read the meaning of CPI and learn, that was why when I was hearing that Argentina was having inflation of over 1000 percent and Nigeria was still having at 18% or so, I knew something was so off... I had to do my own calculations....

richmond500:something that was 5 naira last year and is now 15 naira , how many percent increase is that? Or you be Olodo? Nigeria’s inflation is more than 300 percent. |

| Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 24.2% by richmond500: 5:24am On Apr 16, 2025 |
tpain121:That is not how inflation is calculated. Inflation is calculated using CPI, it's accounting and not mathematics. It's just like creating a balance sheet, what debit and credit mean is different from ur normal bank statement. Can't you see that a lot of accountants doesn't counter the figure because they know how it's calculated? |
| Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 24.2% by richmond500: 5:27am On Apr 16, 2025 |
Brendaniel:if u use AI to ask about debit and credit side of a balance sheet, AI will give u the normal bank explanation of debit-credit. But that is different in accounting. Did u see any chattered accountant arguing with this figure? Cos they know how to calculate it, please stick to what u know and ask someone instead of embarrassing yourself |
| Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 24.2% by Brendaniel: 8:01am On Apr 16, 2025 |
richmond500:Look you are being deceived, seriously, ask your self how Argentina has over 1000% rate inflation and check the econimic indices of Argentina with Nigeria and they are telling you that Nigeria has an inflation rate of 24%. Only if you know how compromised the Nigeria media is surpressing information, you will not even bother arguing... |
| Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 24.2% by richmond500: 8:56am On Apr 16, 2025 |
Brendaniel:go and check Argentina inflation rate, it was 66% and reduced to 54% It was never 1000% at any time |
| Re: Nigeria’s Inflation Rate Rises To 24.2% by Brendaniel: 9:08am On Apr 16, 2025 |
richmond500:You see that's what they use to deceive you guys, they use inflation rate within a short period to tell you this is the inflation rate, but when you aggregate that inflation rate on a year to year steady appreciation, it will give you the real figure, which is what I am doing, they keep calculating based on the previous price on a monthly basis and telling you that's the infation by rebasing it from 0. In 2024 alone Argentina's inflation rate went up by over 100% and if you calculate it without rebasing it to 0 on a yearly basis from the last 5 to 10 years, you will be getting over 1000% because that the true change of the inflated prices of goods and services in the country within that period. Read the stats below and see for yourself...
