I have this chemical that I used for mine, I don't know the name but I could help you get it if you want.

@ rotechh77, I know you have expertise in this area. I have also been to a place where the surroundings smell after flushing the toilet and odors also emanate from the kitchen sink and wash hand basins. What could be the cause and what's the remedy?

This is not an issue chemical can solve. Your plumbing is wrong. You need to fix your plumbing.

Get a P -Trap for the kitchen sink. The water trapped in the U blocks the odour from the soakaway.

Regarding the smell in the toilet after polishing, the mechanism is the same. It could be because the pan isn't getting enough water to cover the s-trap. Basically the water retained in the bottom of the pan separates the smell from the soakaway. If there isn't enough water in the pan, leaving an air gap, this is where the smell is most likely coming from. So you may need to get a new WC.

The going rate that my bricklayer of over 14 years confirmed to me this week is bricklayer 8k and Labour 5k for a day of 100 blocks. He trusts me to pay him whatever at the end of the work probably because I give more and I was checking to see that I have not lost touch. Also he doubles as my maintenance supervisor he is on Salary.

Last year I started paying minimum 10k bricklayer and 6k Labour especially for a job of 5 or less days and I give a meal allowance.

Gbadexy is too much for me. I got a second competitive of 270k ( might end up with 300k or 350k with meal allowances and ladder) and there is another by the end of the week. All of them have worked with me before and the most recent is the one of 750k all this diaspora people done open him mouth.

Painters charge high these days as they say they pay high daily pay for workers now but even at that some charge reasonably.
I got a very reasonable one through a very distinguished member here with very long commercial builds.
I am sure his charges would be very competitive if needed. I don't have any stake or interest besides recommending him.
