I was only quoting someone who said why must southern presidential candidate choose northerner as vise. I use the questionnaire method to ask him If the northern presidents didn't choose vice from south. That's how it should be and we just said same thing.

Isn't shameful for a 2 term governor to go anc seat in the senate. I feel he will not earn much respect. It is better to be minister then being a senator

I Have Capacity To Become Nigeria’s President — Seyi Makinde

Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State on Tuesday said he has the capacity to occupy the highest political office in the land.

Makinde, a second-term governor and chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), made this known on Channels Television’s Politics Today programme.

According to him, the 2027 elections would be between Nigerians and the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC); and not a contest between the PDP and the APC.

Makinde said, “I don’t have any doubt that I have the capacity to occupy the highest office in this land and I have what it takes but what I want to do right now, is it what Nigerians are asking for right now, is it what my party will say we should do, we don’t know; we still have a long time to go.

This one doesn't know what it takes to be president of Nigeria. It's not as straightforward as those outside it think. Too many complications and complexities.

Let give a fresh blood the opportunity to Serve.

I have capacity to become President-Makinde. This sounds like the same script Fayemi, Akpabio and the rest played in 2022 with APC primaries. Put themselves in the conversation earlier, then along the line collapse their support base into Tinubu's endeavour, creating that sense of "massive collaboration" in the minds of unsuspecting voters
