The average Northern Nigerian sees the Sultan of Sokoto as the number 1 King 👑 in Nigeria and the most supreme Islamic Leader in Nigeria.
How I wished the Government could by themselves gazette the First class Kings in Nigeria according to their seniority or relevance.

For your information, the FG/colonialists only waned the influence of the sultan. His mandate extends into parts of Niger Republic. We should also note that being influential beyond the shores of the country doesn't mean that one will is the most influential within the country.
