The name oyenusi, Big Joe and Shina Rambo shook households down to their foundations.

These guys were the foremost armed robbers and bandits before the advent of slice bread.

Won't work. We will just keep shooting and shooting people, and the root of the problem would be there.

Remember, the heart of man is evil. The best we can do is improve education, improve access to education, good health and housing, and public facilites, end corruption, and so forth.

But even if we turn Nigeria into a good country today, remember that an armed robber can in one operation net far more money than most people would see in a year. Some people prefer to surrennder to their baser natures and take that risk. Some people would rather take the easy way of crime, than work hard for a living. In their mind working hard for a living is for jokers.

It does not matter whether we do firing squad, or life in prision. Someone somehwere is always going to choose crime.

And this does not mean we should never fight or punish crime

Our thieving politicians deserve this kind of treatment ....but then I believe it not good to shoot human beings publicly like that, but armrobbers and kidnappers have already lost their humanity, because someone who Armed himself with dangerous weapon ready to hurt a human being publicly deserved to be killed publicly

Dr. Oyenusi, one of the robbers, threw a goat meat pepper soup party. He had bought the goat a few days before his arrest by the police. When asked what his last wishes were, he requested that the police slaughter the goat they had taken from him earlier and make pepper soup for him. A wish police granted. Imagine the balls.

When they were still wasting precious bullets killing these folks. I remember those days. It was both entertaining and touching watching soldiers kill them through firing squads after a parade.

We would always be informed that soldiers were going to waste some criminals and interested people would go and feast their eyes cheesy
